We have made a name for ourselves with the "Sandbank 24" project. Our small yet effective team developed the offshore wind farm through the approval procedure and up to implementation maturity. All the key technical details such as the selection of suitable wind turbines, the development of the foundations and the electrical infrastructure were processed by us or controlled by us as the project manager.
Furthermore, we achieved an unopposed approval for the offshore grid connection route, at the time unique in the industry. Currently, with "Sandbank Extension", we have already applied for the first expansion of the wind farm. All the relevant studies have been completed for this project.
After selling the project to Vattenfall Europe Windkraft GmbH, we remain on board in a consulting role to ensure a successful transition.
Now our experience from „Sandbank 24“ is benefiting new plans. We have applied for planning permission for the "Witte Bank" project 120 km west of the island of Sylt. It comprises 118 wind energy turbines in water depths of up to 49 metres. It's a new challenge we relish.
