Today, Polish energy regulation authority URE announced the result¹ of its invitation to tender for large wind turbines and photovoltaic plants, which was issued on 26 November. The auction attracted 127 offers from 97 bidders. A fixed price, plus adjustment for inflation, will be paid for the calculated energy volume between 2021 and 2038.
"Now we have 33 months in which to start energy generation. It's a welcome success in challenging times", says Heike Kröger, Director of the parent company Projekt Ökovest GmbH. Wind measurements over many years at the location in Jeżyce-Jeżyczki reveal an average wind speed of 7.1 m/s at hub height.
A total of seven wind turbines have been approved. Initially, the plan is to erect up to five Vestas V110-2MW. The responsible energy utility Energa has authorised connection to the Darłowo substation. The construction permits for laying the cables are valid up to 2023.
