Installation of a V150 in the Oldenbroker Feld wind farm, municipality of Ovelgönne (Wesermarsch district)

Projekt Ökovest GmbH will be in charge of coordinating the construction work for this repowering project, including the dismantling of the existing turbines and the construction of the necessary transformer station. A joint infrastructure company will be set up for the construction of the transformer station and other infrastructure.
ENOVA took the lead in the negotiations with the manufacturer VESTAS regarding the wind turbine supply and maintenance contracts, creating economically advantageous conditions for the project in the long term. Projekt Ökovest has concluded a service agreement with ENOVA for this purpose as part of the joint cooperation agreement. The landowners had already joined together to form the Hiddels GbR wind farm interest group when the old turbines were built. The Projekt group of companies has been collaborating successfully with them for many years, so it was only logical to continue this collaboration by renewing these contracts.
The average annual energy yield is expected to be 71,300.8 MWh/a at an average wind speed of 7.4 m/s at hub height for the entire wind farm, almost two and a half times more than with the previous turbines.
"This is one of the best locations in northern Germany for wind power, and thanks to excellent cooperation with everyone involved and a high level of acceptance, we will be able to execute this project quickly," says Ubbo de Witt, Managing Partner of Projekt Ökovest GmbH.
