The operational management contract from Pfalzwind GmbH covers a total of 58 turbines from various manufacturers. With a total capacity of 98 MW, the turbine locations add to the technical management operations of the Oldenburg company in Rhineland-Palatinate, where it has since October 2014 also successfully supported the wind farms Göllheimer Wald and Oberndorf. Pfalzwind GmbH is a joint operating company of PFALZWERKE AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT and Rio Energie GmbH, a subsidiary of Stadtwerke Mainz AG.
This expansion of the portfolio managed in Rhineland-Palatinate creates and secures new jobs in the region. What it also achieves is an optimal cooperation with the local operating companies and an even more intensive joint strategic partnership with the energy utility PFALZWERKE AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT. Ubbo de Witt, Managing Partner of Projekt GmbH, says: "I'm delighted our know-how in technical operational management built up over many years has led to this major order and the trust in us it represents."
The operational management contract with SKW Gemini GmbH & Co. KG covers six Vestas V66 and V80 turbines at the locations Mittelort in the Wesermarsch region and Malterhausen near Berlin, adding up to a total capacity of 10.6 MW.
Since 1997, Projekt GmbH has been operating prototypes from various manufacturers on the test field of the Deutsches Windenergieinstitut (German Wind Energy Institute). These many years of operation as well as measuring and various research projects make the company one of the most experienced suppliers of technical operational management. Projekt GmbH is an associated company of PFALZWERKE AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT.
