The third construction phase of the wind park will be able to supply another 25,000 households with "green" electricity in future. 

The construction work began in May 2017 with the road construction work, and the first foundation for the Vestas plants of the type Vestas V112-3.45 MW were erected in July. Due to the high hub heights, in autumn the project was confronted with the challenges of the long-term strong wind levels. However, the installation and commissioning of a total of 8 plants was successfully completed at the end of the year. 

"Our thanks go to the companies involved, and in particular to the committed team of employees, which enabled us to complete these two customer projects in 2017 despite the adverse weather conditions. With the exception of one plant, the plants in our own holdings were also put into operation in 2017", remarked Managing Director Ubbo de Witt.

The Oldenbroker Feld Wind Park is located in the community of Ovelgönne, in the Wesermarsch district. In 2017 the first construction phase from 2016, Oldenbroker Field II already produced more than 33,397 MWh with three plants of the type Vestas V112-3.30 MW.
