At the General Meeting, Managing Director Mara Rockenbach presented the results of the one-year wind measurement at up to 100 m. They impressively confirmed the previous forecasts of the calculation derived from the 50-m measurements performed by the surveying company Overspeed GmbH & Co. KG. The CEO of CooperVento, Kurt Grenzer, was delighted with the solid economic foundation for further investment provided by an average wind speed of 7.3 m/s at hub height. The specialists required for the different aspects of implementation in the EVU supply area in the state of Rio Grande do Sul have been determined. The energy utilities will contribute their know-how on construction, grid connection and marketing of the wind power in Brazil, while the Projekt group will bring on board its wind energy experience for the planned completion in 2015.
Ubbo de Witt: "The cooperative structure and long-term commitment of the CRELUZ group are ideal for the project. We're all looking forward to the joint implementation with reliable partners."
